It was more than 10 years ago since I was in Mexico. This time it’ll be very different since we leave the luxury of the Riviera Maya and the areasbuilt for tourists to discover the core of Mexico. Starting in Mexico city.
We picked, suggested by the fake Mexican (Martinez) Pozzoni, a very cheap hostel in the heart of the city, few steps from Plaza de la Constitucion. Sure it features a nice terrace where to have breakfast and dinner, but unfortunately it also features a bed with springs which leave in-prints on my back and some other weird stuff such as:
this morning at about 4am I was woken up by a very thick smell of burnt feathers and at about 5am a loud crowing of a rooster was coming from the hall…so you see…I’m looking forward to breakfast!
A first look around the city yesterday made me discover a huge picture of the previous Pope in the Catedral Metropolitana and tendency to just be on fire with just a minute taste of chilly.
Off to breakfast!
