We didn’t plan to go to Cholula, but it was on our way to the remote Venetian village of Chipilo. We took a local transport (camioneta) which was some sort of miniature church on its own.
The road was in the middle of some fields and we really didn’t get the chance to experience the earthquake. Good for us! We made it to Chipilo just for a cappuccino and a look around the small village where people indeed look like Italians.
As last day in Mexico city yesterday we have visited the charming quarter of Coyoacan, in the South end. Its beautiful small streets full of life and colors seem to belong to some completely different place compared to the North part of town in which you can really feel the feeling of a big (really big) city.
